Special thanks to our friends at the Iowa DD Council and Allies in Advocacy of Iowa for appearing on the show to discuss their recent advocacy day at the Iowa State Capitol to discuss Work Without Worry. Work Without Worry is legislation that would increase the asset limit for people with disabilities beyond $2000. This would allow employed people with disabilities to retain their health insurance through . This is critical since is the only insurance that covers in home healthcare. Evan does a great job sharing his story and the impact this legislation could have on the lives of Iowan's with disabilities.
