Our region needs conservation. Environmental challenges like compromised water quality, recurring flooding, sediment erosion, and more, are creating a situation we cannot ignore.

The Conservation Acceleration Fund was developed in 2023 to respond to these challenging times, maximizing the scope and pace of water quality projects. We're proud to say that in the last three years alone we've mitigated 24M+ pounds of nitrate, captured 61K+ acres of drainage, and activated 100+ water quality projects. Thank you to all our project partners — we truly could not do it without you.

Iowans want clean water. Farmers want to be part of the solution. What we need now is the funding to match what we're asking them to do, a watershed approach that puts dollars where they'll do the most good, and permitting that moves at the speed of the solution.

None of that is out of reach. The path is clear — and we're ready to walk it together.
