WYS Scout Pack 602 celebrated yesterday with family, friends and leaders for their first annual Rank Advancement Party! Thank you to everyone who came and supported these great kids and all their hard work and achievements! Many thanks to all the parents for your continued support for this great program! Thank you to all who brought food and helped prepare our BBQ!

Our pack will be starting with new ranks later this month. This is a great time to welcome new kids to join us! If you are concerned about sports and other activities our pack is very flexible around other activities. We currently meet the first and third Thursdays of the month and sometimes have a weekend activity. If your child would like to be a part of scouting please contact Becky, I’m happy to answer any questions 406-539-6343.

If you are interested in joining Cub Scouts or Scouts BSA now is the time! Our pack will be moving up to their next rank in just a couple short weeks and it’s a great time for new scouts to join our ranks! Just scan the QR code on the flier!

We will also be starting our annual Popcorn Fundraiser at the end of the month where kids can earn money to pay for membership fees, uniforms, camps, books and different activities we do as a pack. Please reach out to Becky if you have any questions or need help signing up 406-539-6343.

Here we go again! Way to go Scout Pack 602! Today we helped clean up our community!

We started at the City Park, made our way to Yellowstone Ave and cleaned up around the fire station, search and rescue building, the West Yellowstone Foundation Building, town offices, The Povah Center and Little Rangers Daycare. We finished at our school and covered all the grounds surrounding the school! Hard work on a hot day by these great kids and their families!👏🏻👏🏻😊♥️. Thank you All!

WYS Scout Pack 602 had a great time at our first overnight camping trip last weekend. We went to the Island Park Scout Camp, where we did some swimming, shooting both with BB Guns and we did Archery. We learned about Geodes and we cut some open to reveal the cool crystals inside.

The Cubs also learned about camping, safety and we practiced using the buddy system.

Hey West Yellowstone Locals! Don’t miss this super fun event happening this Wednesday from 4-6pm! Your local WYS Cub Scout pack 602 will be selling bratwurst and hotdogs with chips and a water! We will also have snow cones!

Come visit us so you don’t have to worry about fixing dinner after the event!

We are recruiting kids ages 5 and up to join our pack! We are also recruiting Adults 21 years and older to help in any capacity you can in leadership roles! We want to add a Scouts BSA Troop in West Yellowstone and we need two kids 6th grade and older to help make that happen. Please reach out to me directly if you are interested!
