Today was a truly special day that filled our hearts to the brim. We were treated to a surprise visit from two of our beloved adoptive alumni, Petey and Bandit! 🐾🐾
It is hard to put into words how lucky these two boys are to have the families they do. Adopted by two brothers from the same wonderful family, Petey and Bandit have truly become the absolute center of their parents' world.
They have traveled all across the United States together, dipping their paws into both the East and West Coast oceans. Adoptions like this are the reason we do what we do. They mean absolutely everything to us.
Both of these sweet boys overcame so much before finding their happily-ever-afters.
Petey had a very rough start to life, but now at 9 years old, he has traveled more than most humans! Petey is his dad’s shadow, finding comfort in his presence. And boy does this old man love his toys!!
Sweet Bandit was sadly left behind and forgotten after his previous owner passed away. He waited alone until the day an exterminator came to spray the apartment and found Bandit lying on the bed, just so happy to finally have a visitor. Bandit has traveled, met many strangers that became friends, and has become his dad’s side kick.
Seeing them now—happy, healthy, and deeply loved—is the greatest reward. We hope you enjoy this video as much as we do! There is nothing quite like the heartwarming feeling of being visited by the sweet souls you cared for for so long.
