Today is the 5th day of the 5th month on the lunar calendar, the traditional Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu Festival).

🍙 Today, families celebrate by enjoying zongzi, honoring tradition, and sharing time with loved ones.

💚 Wishing everyone good health, happiness, peace, and prosperity. Have a wonderful Dragon Boat Festival!

🎉 What a wonderful Sunday at the Youth Hero Award & Race Amity Day in Amherst! 🥁❤️🌍

Our CAWM Waist Drum Team was honored to perform and celebrate the inspiring Youth Hero Award recipients. 🌟 Thank you to Town of Amherst, MA for organizing the event for bringing our community together in the spirit of kindness, friendship, and unity. 🤝💙

It was a busy Saturday for CAWM team members! 🌿 This morning, some attended PVRC's Learn to Row event 🚣‍♀️ while others enjoyed mini golf ⛳. The mini golf outing was a family activity organized in honor of our partner, Di Wang, whose family is moving away. We later gathered at Ginger Garden Restaurant 🍽️ for a farewell lunch.

Di joined CAWM during one of our most challenging times and has since become an amazing and invaluable team member 💛. From designing our Chinese New Year and Dragon Boat Festival flyers 🖌️ to helping create our Culture Tour and performing with our waist drum team 🥁, her creativity, dedication, and love of culture have made a lasting impact.

We wish Di and her family all the best in their new adventure. We will miss you, Di—come visit us! 💕✈️

🎨🌎 What an awesome time at the Multicultural Night Art Show at Coburn Elementary School! CAWM was honored to be invited to lead a ribbon dance workshop. The kids had so much fun with us—we danced and danced almost nonstop! 💃🕺🎀

Thank you for inviting us. We are truly honored to have been part of such a wonderful celebration. The students' artwork was amazing 🎨, the food was delicious 🍽️, and we were incredibly impressed by the students' creativity, enthusiasm, and talent. 👏✨

It was a fantastic evening of culture, community, and fun! ❤️

What a great time at the Agawam Multicultural Festival this past Saturday! 🎉
A huge thank you to the Agawam Public Schools Page, Agawam Culture Council, Ayla Ummuye Alkan and the all the organizers for putting together yet another amazing event celebrating culture, and community. We had such a wonderful time connecting, performing, and sharing in the joy of the day!

Especially proud of our Waist Drum team for doing an amazing job despite the last-minute preparation. 🥁✨ And put incredible volunteers who are the Soul of our organization. Check out this photo reel recording that beautiful day 💛
