Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Preparing Leaders! 🍁🦃 We’re so grateful for our amazing families and the memories we’ve created together—2025 is going to be our best summer yet! ☀️✨ Enjoy this special day with your loved ones, and we can’t wait to see you next year!

Week 8 is a wrap!✅ We kicked off the week with our treasure hunt day 🗺️💎 and had so much fun with our other themed days as well. We celebrated Counselor Appreciation Day 👏❤️, enjoyed Christmas in July where we gave out toys to all our campers and raffled off two bicycles for two lucky campers as well 🎄☃️, and wrapped up the week with our awesome field trip to Adrenaline Trampoline Park 🤸‍♀️🏃‍♂️. With only one more week left time has passed in the blink of an eye. It felt as if we had just started this journey with our awesome campers yesterday, but we looked forward to one last week of being able to prepare tomorrow’s leaders today! 🌟😃

Week 7 is a wrap✅

We kicked off this week with Mustache Monday 🥸, and had a blast with our themed days! From rocking neon colors ❇️ to our campers becoming superheroes 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️ for Superhero Day, the fun never stopped. Our TikTok competition was fierce, and our winners snagged the $200 grand prize 🏆.

Wednesday, July 17th, was a highlight as we went on our annual field trip to Jamathon at the South Florida Fairgrounds 🎡. Our elementary school Jamathon dance team took home the first place trophy for the dance competition 🥇! We couldn’t be prouder of our campers! With only two weeks left, we’re already wondering where the time has gone 😪⏳. Just two chapters left in this exciting summer story, and we can’t wait to end it on a high note! 🌟

The second week of July is complete! 🎉 We enjoyed Kona Ice on Monday 🍧😋. Our themes this week were incredible: Culture Day 🌍, where campers showed off their beautiful cultures ❤️; Self-Love Day 🥰, where we explored what self-esteem really is 💪✨; and our amazing spelling bee participants competed at the 10th annual Super Summer Spelling Bee 🐝, with three campers finishing 1st 🥇, 2nd 🥈, and 3rd 🥉 in their respective grade levels across the whole county!We wrapped up the week with a fun field trip to the movie theater to see Despicable Me 4 🎬🍿. Only 3 weeks left, and we can’t wait to close out the summer in an unforgettable way! 🎊☀️
