On April 21, TradeUp hit a major milestone with our very first New Student Orientation, welcoming 11 new students into the program! 🎉

It was a night full of energy, pride, and support, with students and their families coming together to mark the beginning of this journey. Hearing from our founder, Jeff Firestone, and Susan about how TradeUp began set the tone for what’s ahead and the impact we’re building together. ✨

By blending Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County's merit-based scholarships and mentoring with College for Kids’ trade-focused exploration, the program proactively expands opportunities beyond the traditional four- year college track.

What a beautiful evening with Impact the Palm Beaches - a night rooted in connection, generosity, and the power of women coming together to create real change.

We are honored and incredibly grateful to have been selected for a $100,000 transformational grant in support of College for Kids' TradeUp program. With a matching donor, this investment will open the door for 50 students to enter high-demand skilled-trade pathways - giving them mentorship, training, and a future they can step into with confidence.

Our team - Nancy, Holly, Heather, Patricia, and Danielle - was proud to be there representing this work and celebrating alongside so many inspiring women and the incredible nonprofits who were finalists this year. The room was filled with purpose, collaboration, and a shared commitment to strengthening Palm Beach County.

THANK YOU to Impact the Palm Beaches for believing in this program and for planting deep roots in our community through collective giving. We are so excited for what this means for our students, their families, and the future workforce of our community.
