Hello DCC Members and Community Partners,

A quick update on our upcoming Doula Town Hall.

Our Doula Town Hall has moved to Tuesday, September 8th from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Same agenda, new date. We cannot wait to gather with you.

We will still be coming together via Zoom to share results from the Miami Doula and Jackson Health staff surveys, walk through the Doula Friendly Designated Hospital™ initiative, explaining what it means for your practice and access as doulas with clients birthing at Jackson Health. Jackson Health's new doula guideline will also be discussed. It is also a wonderful opportunity to network and commune with one another.

Please update your calendars and use the same registration link below. And please spread the word. If you are a doula agency owner, collaborative, or coalition member, we encourage you to share this with everyone you work with. If you are an independent doula please pass this along to your doula colleagues who support families at Jackson Health North and Main campus. The more of us in the room the richer the conversation.

This month's roundtable, DCC member and student Midwife, with will be opening the discussion on freebirth. We will explore where autonomy, advocacy, ethics, safety, and compassionate care intersect.
