Guess who's running in the 16th Annual Stop for Nikhil Run on Sunday September 20th in West Orange, NJ? Our Prez, Gary Rothstein. The Nikhil Badlani Foundation is one of our largest funders of West Orange Scholarship Fund scholarships and if you'd like to pledge towards Gary's run (a li'l-bit-goes-a-long-way) that would be sweet. The Nikhil Badlani Foundation is a verified 501c3 and you can specify that you'd like your funds to be earmarked for Academic Scholarships. (Or you could choose General fund or any other option they offer). The link to toss some ducats towards Gary's fundraising effort is listed above.

https://canva.link/dmccf26 Read about Julian LaFontant, the recipient of the Dean Michael Clarizio Cancer Foundation Scholarship in the WOHS Class of '26. The dmccf.org does such important work and we are so pleased that they grant a scholarship to a member of the WOHS's senior class. This year 26 of our 159 applicants were impacted by cancer in their immediate family. We are so pleased to be able to distribute scholarships to students who triumph in the face of difficulty, and to do this on behalf of other foundations as well.

Congratulations to the recipient of the Dylan Pennell ROTC Scholarship, granted this year by the West Orange Scholarship Fund to WOHS Class of 2026 AFJROTC cadet Lesley Tamay. Thanks to the generosity and diligence of our trustee, Suzanne Pennell, her husband Donald, the leadership of Major Joseph Marchesini and the inspiration of Lieutenant Commander Dylan Pennell, this young cadet is off to a great start! She is also the recipient of the The CJ Morgan Foundation 's Christopher CJ Morgan Memorial Scholarship, and the The Nikhil Badlani Foundation ' s Nikhil Badlani Scholarship as well! You will do great things, Lesley!
