The weather is getting cooler! This is a great time of year to visit one of our Louisiana State Parks and chill out (or camp) in a hammock. One of my favorites is Lake D'arbone State Park. A beautiful state park that's only 40-45 min from Monroe.

Save the date. Next Thursday, Feb. 16th the ROE meet up will take place @ Black Bayou Lake NWR!
Ms. Nova Clarke, Refuge Ranger will share the recreational opportunities that are available at Black Bayou Lake. The presentation will begin at 6pm but feel free to come on out before and enjoy a walk and meet some other outdoor enthusiast.
