Join us for our first event of Severe Weather Preparedness Week: Model Monday! This will be at the same time as Exponent Forecasting. EAPS professor Maxim Couillard will be joining us to give us the opportunity to learn more about some of the models we use every week, and to learn more about forecasting overall. As always, the recording of the forecast video will follow. We look forward to seeing everyone there for our kickoff of Severe Weather Preparedness Week!

Join PUMA as we hear from Chad Evans, Purdue professor and former broadcast meteorologist. Chad has over 25 years of experience in broadcast meteorology, and is going to discuss tips on what makes a good video forecast (and what makes a bad video forecast) as well as the psychology behind broadcast meteorology. He teaches COM 497, Weather Reporting, every spring and goes in-depth into making forecasts and presenting in front of a green screen in the class. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
