We’re helping spread the word about an important professional opportunity from the Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL).

On Saturday, August 22, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, DOPL will host a free informational session for internationally trained construction and design professionals who want to better understand the requirements and pathways toward professional licensure in Utah.

The session will cover pathways for residential and commercial journeyman electricians and plumbers, master electricians, general and residential contractors, and professional engineers.

We're looking for volunteers to help make Carnaval de Barrio an unforgettable experience for our community!

If you'd like to be part of this celebration of Latino culture, we'd love to have you join our volunteer team. Volunteers help create a welcoming, organized, and enjoyable event for everyone who attends.

As a thank you, volunteers will receive:
✅ Free admission to Carnaval de Barrio
✅ Food and beverages during the event
✅ A 50% discounted ticket for one guest after their volunteer shift is confirmed

We've designed volunteer shifts so you'll work no more than half of the event, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the music, food, performances, and festivities yourself.
