Sending condolences to our disaster partners, an amazing, giving group always helping others.

We join the entire barbecue community in mourning the loss of Floyd "Sonny" Tillman, founder of Sonny's BBQ, at 96.

Sonny's spirit of generosity and community was evident in the support Sonny's BBQ has provided to Operation BBQ Relief, including volunteers and financial aid that helped us feed communities after disasters and support our heroes in uniform.

We send our deepest sympathy to the Tillman family and the entire Sonny’s BBQ family. His legacy will continue to inspire us.

We here at Emergency 411 share our love and sadness at the loss of these beautiful Volunteer Warriors. The world was a better place with all you did to help others. Godspeed.

We are saddened by the tragic loss of Alexander Wurm, the visionary founder of Ignite the Fire, and his beloved daughter, Serena.

They passed away yesterday in a plane crash while bringing critical aid to Jamaica for Hurricane Melissa relief.

Though we may not have known them personally, the faith, compassion, and tireless service they demonstrated touched countless lives and set an incredible example.

May their extraordinary legacy of giving live on. Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with their family and their loved ones.

🚨 Emergency 411 is teaming up with Operation BBQ Relief and the Church of Scientology to send food boxes to Jamaica in responce to Hurricane Melissa.

Volunteers will begin packing food boxes this week to be flown to Jamaica.

Each box is packed with 36 meals, that gives a family of four 3 days of nutrients.

They are the place where folks can register damage for volunteer organizations to come and help them for no charge after a disaster.

Crisis Cleanup is working with National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (National VOAD) and local volunteer organizations to assist in helping those affected by the Central Texas Flooding to cleanup from these devastating floods. The hotline is 512-201-4814. Please note this is a hotline for volunteer property cleanup requests. Volunteers work free of charge and do their best to serve as many as possible.
