What a special weekend celebrating 125 years of West Homestead and the community we are so proud to call home!

Steel City Drip is incredibly honored to be recognized as part of that story. We are beyond grateful to have Calhoun as our home field, giving our boys a place to play, grow, make memories, and proudly represent West Homestead.

This is about more than baseball. It’s about community, family, tradition, and building something our kids can be proud to be a part of.

Here’s to honoring the past, celebrating the present, and watching the next generation carry it forward. ❤️

This season will always hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️ Our very first season as a travel baseball organization with our 8U boys has been filled with memories, lessons, challenges, laughs, long days, and moments we will never forget. Watching these boys come together, grow together, and become a TEAM has been something truly special. What started as a group of kids playing baseball turned into a brotherhood that we are so incredibly proud of. ⚾️🖤💛

A huge thank you to our coaches Logan, Josh, John, and Maurice. Thank you for every practice, every game, every lesson, every late night, and every early morning. Thank you for believing in these boys, pushing them when they needed it, encouraging them when things got hard, and teaching them so much more than just the game of baseball. The impact you have had on these boys this season goes far beyond the field, and we are so grateful for everything you have poured into them.

To our 8U parents — THANK YOU. ❤️ Thank you for the tireless nights, the early mornings, the long drives, the packed bags, the countless hours at the ballpark, and all the things that happen behind the scenes that nobody always sees. Thank you for always jumping in with a helping hand, supporting not only your own child but every boy on this team. It takes a village to make a season like this happen, and we truly have the best village.

Most importantly, to our 8U boys — we are SO proud of you. 🥹 You showed up, you worked hard, you battled, you learned, you grew, and you never stopped being a team. Your first season of travel baseball may be coming to a close, but this is only the beginning of your story. We hope you always remember the friendships you made, the lessons you learned, and how much fun you had playing this game together.

This weekend, our Steel City Drip 8U team takes the field for the Monroeville Summer Slam 2.0—the final tournament of their 8U season.

📍 Saturday
⚾ 8:00 AM vs. Monroeville Gators
⚾ 9:30 AM vs. Hampton

📍 Sunday
⚾ Bracket play (game times TBD)

These boys have given everything they’ve had all season, and they deserve a crowd behind them. Come out, make some noise, and help us finish this 8U chapter the right way. 🎉🔥⚾️
