We talk about issues unique to gay men's lives: male/male romance, surviving homophobia, coming out -- and beyond. We are a support group for gay men based in the West Hollywood area; our objective is to foster a sense of community and togetherness for gay men, especially those seeking meaningful long-term romantic relationships. shadowed by antigay hostility, the difficulty of "fitting in" especially in relation to the West Hollywood gay scene, the experience of rejection from other gay men both romantically and on a level of friendship, the possible awkwardness of a gay man's non-affirming family meeting his first significant other for the very first time, the frustrations many have experienced in finding a quality boyfriend in a world where ubiquitous internet dating has seemingly eclipsed most other venues for meeting a partner -- and more. We welcome gay men of all ages, ethnic and social backgrounds. Come as you are: this is not a speed dating event. :-)
