Billy Oswald passed away last night, and our hearts are heavy with this loss. For more than 20 years, he served as our commander with unwavering dedication, strength, and compassion. Billy gave so much of himself to the American Legion and to American Legion Baseball, touching countless lives along the way.
He was more than a leader — he was a mentor, a friend, and a steady presence to so many. His kindness, commitment, and love for our veterans, our youth, and our community will never be forgotten. Billy’s legacy will live on in the many lives he helped shape and in the organization he cared for so deeply.
