When we lost him, our family wanted to turn that heartbreak into something that could help others. That's why we started The Gavin Effect.

It’s hard to even put into words how much it means to see The Gavin Effect already helping our first class of artists in his name.

We know Gavin would be happy to see our grantees receiving encouragement and funding through this charity. His spirit lives on through every connection, every grant, and every creative we are able to support.

Using her artist grant, Lady Lychee funded a month of rehearsal space to continue developing her artistry and live performance.

Inspired by emotion, intuition, and the natural world around her, Sierra creates music that feels deeply personal and reflective.

For years, she held back from fully sharing her work. Now, she’s investing in herself and her sound in a deeper way.

With support from her Gavin Effect grant, Sierra purchased AutoTune software and has already started recording new music and developing her artistry further 💙

We’re proud to introduce the first class of artists supported by The Gavin Effect 💙

We are investing in people who are creating with purpose, pushing through challenges, and using their art to connect, heal, and tell real stories.

Meet our first three grantees ⬇️

Foundation Mecca 🎤 Music started as survival. Today, his “Heal Hop” sound blends hip hop and cinematic storytelling to explore healing and transformation. This grant will help him repair his laptop and continue producing and supporting other artists.

Lady Lychee 🍓
After years of self doubt, one defining moment gave Emma the confidence to pursue music fully. Her work blends indie, punk, and jazz into raw, emotional songs built for live performance. This grant supports her band’s practice and recording costs.

Domini ✨ Inspired by nature and emotion, Sierra creates music intuitively, but has held back from releasing it. This grant will help her invest in tools to refine her sound and finally share her work with the world.
