The Gavin Effect will be awarding two grants to help creatives take the next step in their work. Whether you’re an artist, musician, student or someone working to bring a creative idea to life, we want to hear from you.

Gavin was my nephew, but being only three years apart, we grew up more like siblings.

When we lost him, our family wanted to turn that heartbreak into something that could help others. That's why we started The Gavin Effect.

Every artist we support is another way his light, his music, and his belief in people continue to live on. 💙

It’s hard to even put into words how much it means to see The Gavin Effect already helping our first class of artists in his name.

We know Gavin would be happy to see our grantees receiving encouragement and funding through this charity. His spirit lives on through every connection, every grant, and every creative we are able to support.

There’s something special about watching someone fully step into their sound. Through raw emotion, energy, and fearless live performance, Emma pours her whole heart into her music.

Using her artist grant, Lady Lychee funded a month of rehearsal space to continue developing her artistry and live performance.

Inspired by emotion, intuition, and the natural world around her, Sierra creates music that feels deeply personal and reflective.

For years, she held back from fully sharing her work. Now, she’s investing in herself and her sound in a deeper way.

With support from her Gavin Effect grant, Sierra purchased AutoTune software and has already started recording new music and developing her artistry further 💙
