Troop 990 West Chester Oh joined us on a great adventure! We spent the day at Hueston Woods State Park to work on the Liberty in Action 250th Anniversary Challenge. Together we participated in a service project (cleaned up around the dam and archery range), rolled wax candles, made homemade butter, hiked to the covered bridge, and visited the Doty Homestead.

New Pack year, new meeting information! Pack 941 will be moving our monthly Pack meetings to the 2nd Sunday at 6pm in the Community Room at Faith Community UMC, on Cox between the Hopewells. Our leaders have been hard at work to come up with some great activities for our Scouts! Have questions? Comment or send us a DM!

When our Cubs move up to BSA Scouting they have the opportunity to utilize educational opportunities like these. We are so happy to see a resource like this for our Scouting community. Several of our Pack members who moved onto BSA Troop 990 were out there working on welding, automotive maintenance, plumbing, robotics, and painting merit badges.

This is going to be a wonderful addition to the Dan Beard Council!

Through experiential learning, mentorship, and values-based education, Scouting helps young people discover interests, build confidence, and develop transferable skills that employers consistently say they need: teamwork, accountability, communication, and problem-solving.
