🌟Film Spotlight: Together We Thrive

Come See it at the Rustin Day of Film on Saturday 6/13 at the Chester County History Center!

We're proud to highlight the West Chester Community Center, a pillar of our community ❤️

They've provided a variety of equitable programs for all citizens, regardless of race or economic status. Charles A. Melton, who was the director of the center from 1966 to 1980, fought for the African American community of West Chester. He was active in the Civil Rights movement and was friends with Bayard Rustin.

This short film showcases the center's importance to the community through engaging interviews, touching stories, and breathtaking visuals. It is especially impactful, providing an intriguing look into the Melton Center’s history, its ongoing programs, and the exciting shift towards the West Chester Community Center brand.

Come out and show your support!
