Our community is coming together for one of our own 💛

Sweet Wrenley, daughter of Andrew Christner and Pam Venable, is facing a long road of medical care and travel, and we want to help ease the burden on their family during this difficult time.

The Clear Lake Fire Department Auxiliary has set up a fundraiser to help with travel, lodging, meals, and related expenses.

The Clear Lake Fire Department Auxiliary would like to recognize and thank Tina Pietryga-Reetz and her sister, Kathy, for their incredible hard work in making this year’s Easter party such a success. Your dedication to our community does not go unnoticed—the kids had a fantastic time and enjoyed so many goodies thanks to you both! We also extend our thanks to everyone who donated food, candy, and money, as well as those who helped out to make this event possible.

The Easter party is today at 1:00. We have lots of cool raffle items this year. If you can't make it but want to get in on a raffle you can Venmo the auxiliary and we'll get you entered. Tickets are 1 - $1 and 6 - $5. Please be sure to notate the item when sending the money. Video of items in comments.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Clear Lake firefighters who worked tirelessly through the night Sunday and all day yesterday, running on very little sleep, to help clear our roads and keep them open, which is necessary so EMS and consumers—and the community—can get through safely.

We’re also incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up to support them—whether you brought food, cooked meals, delivered supplies, or simply stopped by to check in. Your kindness did not go unnoticed.

While the road commission was in the area, the majority of the work was handled by our fire department. As you drive through the area and see cut trees along the side of the road, know that the majority of them were touched by the fire department—and there were a LOT.

This truly was a team effort, and it’s moments like these that remind us how strong and supportive our community is. ❤️

This week brings change for our fire family as we say goodbye to our Fire Chief. We’re grateful for his leadership, dedication, and the time he devoted to our firefighters and community. ❤️
