Shout out to the snowmobiling mothers out there. Happy Mother’s Day 💕❄️

From teaching the next generation how to ride safely, to making lifelong memories on Maine’s trails, moms are a huge part of what makes our snowmobiling community so special.

Today we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, daughters, and all the women who help keep the spirit of snowmobiling alive across Maine. ❤️

With great pride, the Maine Snowmobile Association honors Morgan Lee as the 2026 Youth Snowmobiler of the Year.

At just 9 years old, Morgan has already made a remarkable impact through his dedication to the Baldwin Belt Burners and the snowmobiling community. Whether assisting with trail work, grooming alongside experienced operators, or eagerly learning the skills that keep Maine’s trails in top condition, Morgan demonstrates a passion and work ethic far beyond his years .

His enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment embody the future of snowmobiling in Maine. Morgan is not only contributing today—he is helping carry forward the traditions and spirit of the sport for generations to come.

Please join us in celebrating Morgan Lee on this outstanding and well-earned honor!

We had the pleasure of meeting Mark, Matt and Eileen. Great people! Grateful for their dedication to the sport.

We had the pleasure of meeting Mark, Matt and Eileen. Great people! Grateful for their dedication to the sport.

As we close out an incredible chapter for the Maine Snowmobile Association, we want to give a truly heartfelt—and well-deserved—thank you to Mark Chinnock for his extraordinary service as President from 2024–2026.

To say Mark has been dedicated to the MSA would be an understatement. For more than a decade, he has been a driving force behind this organization—serving as Western Region Vice President, Trails Chair, Executive Vice President, a member of the Steering Committee, and ultimately President. At every level, Mark has led with passion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to Maine’s snowmobiling community.

Mark didn’t just show up—he stepped up. Time and time again. Whether it was advocating for our trails, supporting our clubs, or helping guide the Association through challenges and opportunities alike, his impact has been lasting and meaningful. His presidency leaves a strong foundation that will benefit the MSA for years to come.

While his term as President comes to a close, we are incredibly fortunate that Mark’s story with the MSA is far from over. We’re grateful that he’ll continue to stay involved, and we know his leadership and experience will remain an invaluable part of our future.

We are excited to announce that Matt Stedman has been elected President and Eileen Lafland as Executive Vice President. We congratulate them both and look forward to the next chapter of leadership for the MSA.

Today we attended the Maine Snowmobile Association Award ceremonies in Brewer, Maine.

Our youngest club member was nominated for Maine Youth Snowmobiler of the Year. He was nominated by club members of Baldwin Belt Burners, other surrounding clubs, as well as his parents who are also long time MSA members.

Morgan has always shown a great interest in snowmobiling. But it was this year, that he showed an even greater interest in maintaining the trails. When there was enough snow on the ground, you’d find Morgan on his 1985 Bravo, or on the clubs snowmobile grooming the trails.

It is important that if we want to continue with great trail systems here in the state of Maine, we need to encourage the younger generations to join a club.

We are honored to announce that Morgan Lee received this award and recognition. This award will always be a reminder to him that hard work and dedication always pays off.

Congratulations, Morgan!
Only 240 days until winter❄️😉

Test run a couple weeks ago. Snow was sticky so the drag isn’t down.

Not your typical nine year old. Taking tracks off and putting the tires on.
