WA-RISE was created to strengthen connections between the many existing organizations, advocates, businesses, volunteers, and community members already working to support neighbors experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and other barriers to stability.

Our mission is rooted in collaboration, research, and action:
• Identify facts through data collection and community insight
• Recognize gaps in current systems of support
• Build meaningful partnerships to help fill those gaps
• Ensure that no neighbor falls through unnoticed
We were incredibly encouraged by the turnout at our very first public meeting on April 30th. Business owners, local elected officials, nonprofit organizations, volunteers, educators, and members of the interfaith community all came together with a shared purpose: to learn, engage, and create solutions together.
West Allis continues to show what is possible when neighbors choose connection over division and action over silence. We cannot wait to see what this coalition will accomplish together.

Our Rooted in Community event on April 26th was a success! 🌱 Thank you to Liberty Heights Park Neighborhood Association for your support.

We’re so grateful to our community for showing up—and a special thank you to Adrienne for sharing what RISE is all about while adding some sparkle to the neighborhood ✨
