Moving people by bicycle. Our goal is to cultivate a strong cycling culture and empower people to live by bike.

We host weekly group rides, educational and advocacy activities and other unique events, like the annual HalloWheels festival each October.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the annual Ride of Silence honoring those who have been injured or killed while riding. Thank you to the City of Winston Salem police department for escorting us through town. Beyond this one important solidarity ride, we can all work together to do things that make our roads safer. Here’s a few ideas…

Educate YOURSELF on laws, safety, and etiquette. There are lots of resources available via

Educate OTHERS on how to be safe around bicyclists. Talk to you family, friends, coworkers, etc.

TELL YOUR STORY to elected officials. Let your representatives at all levels (city, county, state, and federal) know how you feel about biking in your community and what improvements you’d like to see.

ADVOCATE for better policy & investment in infrastructure. Joining or to get action alerts.

Please join us and fellow cyclists from all over the country to ride in solidarity for Alex Pretti who was murdered by federal agents in Minnesota this past weekend.

We will meet at the Fiddlin’ Fish parking lot around 1:00pm and roll out at 1:30pm. The weather will be terrible, please be safe, dress appropriately with high visibility clothing, and burn head and tail lights. We will try to stick to flat, de-iced parts of the city for 2-3 miles. Knobby tires recommended.
