And I was not going to vote to hire a firm I did not know.

During the August 2025 Board Meeting, at timestamp 44:14, this clip takes place before the agenda item I submitted requesting a financial forensic audit by Weaver and the vote. A ( Financial Forensic Audit by Weaver) has already been supported by some board members and is on our December 15, 2025 meeting.

DISCLAIMER: I use clips from board meetings that involve only myself, out of respect for my fellow trustees and to avoid putting anyone else in a position where they might appear uninformed or misrepresented.

If I ever piece together or combine segments from multiple board meetings, I will inform viewers in the posting. I use these videos solely for full transparency, as seeing events firsthand is more powerful than simply hearing about them from me or anyone else.

I want to sincerely apologize to all WISD staff and families affected by Friday’s stipend email. I understand the concern and frustration it caused, and I’m truly sorry.

The video below explains the challenges our district is facing with stipends and our overall financial situation.

We still have not received complete financial data for the 2024–2025 school year, and accounting for the current year is unfinished. These issues require urgent attention, which is why I called for a financial forensic audit in the July and August board meetings. And I will be requesting support for the third time this Thursday.

My main priority has always been to address these problems quickly as a team and responsibly to protect our staff, our taxpayers, and most importantly, our students.

I want to thank god, my wife, kids, parents, sister, family, friends, staff, and taxpayers for always being supportive and to everyone who took the time to cast a vote for me. In this position you never really know if you’re representing your community properly and fulfilling your duties until election time. Thank you and I’m humbled for the opportunity to serve the students of our community and work with the team of 8 to continue to move Weslaco ISD to academic and financial dominance. I promise to continue to follow my 90/10 rule and do the right thing for the majority 90% that want the best for all rather than the 10% who only want what’s best for them.

Good evening,

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your support in the school board election as an unopposed candidate. Your trust and endorsement mean the world to me, and I'm honored to have had the opportunity to serve in this position and the opportunity to serve an additional four years.

The contributions and support from family, friends and all stakeholders has been invaluable. Your trust and confidence has always inspired me to work harder and strive for excellence as a civil servant.

As a school board member, I promise to prioritize the needs of our students, teachers, parents and community. I'll continue to work tirelessly with my fellow trustees to ensure our schools provide a nurturing environment where everyone can thrive. More importantly to ensure that every student walks into a campus that is second to none.

It has truly been a blessing to be on the school board and be an advocate for students, staff, parents and taxpayers.

The outstanding conclusion to these last four years can only be contributed to “The Team”. The team is our superintendent of schools, the district and campus administration, all staff and trustees working hand in hand with one common goal, academic and financial excellence, not only in our community, but in the region.

Being able to work effectively across the board with every trustee and sustain positive, healthy and productive relationships has been a blessing to this experience. I have tried my hardest to serve appropriately in and out the chair and always with the best interest of our students, parents, staff and taxpayers.

I truly am thankful to my community for giving me permission to sit in this borrowed chair and to contribute back to the school district that contributed so much to me. I look forward to serving another term as we continue towards the main goal which is providing the highest quality education in our community and the region. Thank you 🙏 so much.

Good evening,

This campaign was a great experience in which I received the opportunity to meet many new members of the community and hear their concerns, needs, and goals for the school district. This lengthy campaign required focus, tenacity, fortitude and for that, I commend my opponents, Oscar Caballero and Paula Sanchez, for their drive and determination during this campaign. It was a very unique, challenging, yet enjoyable experience in which my opponents played a crucial role and for that I thank them.

I would like to thank my family, friends, and the community for the support you provided during this long campaign. I am deeply honored to be your next representative for the Weslaco ISD School Board of Trustees Place 2. I look forward to being an innovative, transparent, and collaborative member of the board as we continue to move our district forward in a positive direction.
