Update: After an exploratory surgery, no bowel obstruction was found. The vet does suspect that she consumed something she shouldn’t have and that caused some issues. She had been on laxatives for over a week and may have already passed the obstruction. Her small intestines, spleen and pancreas were very swollen. They confirmed she has pancreatitis. She is being treated for that and will get to come home tomorrow. While her prognosis is good, she has a tough road to recovery as he said she has a severe case and it will take time and managed care for her to fully recover. Thank you to everyone who’s prayed for her or reached out to check on her. We will keep you updated on her recovery. Hopefully, she’s back to visiting 180 soon!

Rosie isn’t just a dog—she’s part of the heart and soul of 180 Recovery House. Since we opened our doors, she’s come to work almost every day with her dad, Jason, our Program Director, and has been a steady presence for every man who’s walked through this house. Whether it was a wagging tail, a quiet moment of comfort, or a sneaky snack slipped under the table—Rosie’s been there.
Today, she’s having surgery for a possible bowel obstruction, and we are very worried. We know she’s a tough girl, but we also know the power of prayer. If Rosie has ever made you smile, we ask that you lift her up in prayer today.
She means the world to us. đź’™
