We’ve got a troop full of fishermen (fisherwomen 😉)!

At our last campout, the girls got to choose the activities—and every chance they had, a big group made their way back to the pond to fish. It was the best hearing the squeals and cheers every time someone caught one!

Fun fact: Did you know that dragonflies make great bait!? One of our Explorers became a pro at catching them, and the fish couldn’t get enough!

Parents: If your daughter fell in love with fishing at our camp out, check into the fishing badge. It may be a fun opportunity to complete another badge at home together! 🐠🐟

Doing badge work at home is optional but it's a super fun way to spend time as a family, try new things, and challenge our girls to explore their own interests.

We've had a few of our girls complete some badge work over the last few weeks as we are preparing to close out our year.

Keep up the great work girls! If you have anything else you've finished up, bring it in to our next meeting so we can celebrate with you!

We started our fire safety badge tonight with our Tenderhearts and Explorers. What better way to learn how to build a fire then building a mock fire out of snacks!

Our Tenderhearts and Explorers took a field trip to finish up their Freshwater and Marine Biology Badge!

Our year is coming to a close in just over a month. Always bitter sweet this time of year.
