The sun was shining on Community Day!! With a huge shout out to our amazing group of volunteers.

Ferell picked up trash on the HWY, Danny and Craig worked on a lawnmower and took care of an old well that needed to be dismantled and taken to the dump. Marin and Sarah cleaned out some gutters (under project manager, Ellie) for a lady with vertigo, in addition to taking hazardous waste to the Lancaster facility. Chip and Bob took heavy items to the dump - I hope we are all as ready and able as they are as seniors!! Oh and did I mention the donuts from Trish?? So delicious.

Thanks to Salty Bob's food truck at the yard sale. Gaylin and her team did a wonderful job hosting for Campbell church. I loved the bargain's I picked up. What a great team effort and day for the village of Weems.

Campbell Memorial Church on Weems rd in the village will be hosting a yard sale tomorrow. So bring some jingle, sell or find a treasure. Salty Bob's food truck will be on site for hungry shoppers. This is the same day as the Village of Weems Community League clean up day. What a great co - pro. Spring Clean your home and the village. Volunteers for clean up day meet at Campbell at 9am.

All proceeds go to benefit the Weems Community League and is open to everyone on the Northern Neck, year round. Perfect for weddings, engagements, gala's, or just an extra table for the kids at Christmas. Checks only. Give Bex Maywald the co - chair of the league a call. Merry Christmas!

A lovely night for a parade with Tony worthy performances from Mary, Joseph and the rest of the cast (!) for our annual impromptu nativity scene, and pot luck at Campbell.
