New York Run for the Fallen A tribute event whose mission is: To run one Hero marker for every fallen Hero lost in the GWOT. Thousands have sacrificed to preserve our way of life.

Although we visibly run one mile to honor and remember each fallen hero from the current conflicts, the total run represents every service member from New York who laid down their lives for freedom's cause. And as you give tribute to this particular hero please remember others who have given the ultimate sacrifice throughout history. New York is rich in the foundation of this country has given tho

usands of her sons and daughters. Regardless of war or conflict, branch of service or method of death, we ultimately run for them all, honoring their service and sacrifice, and remembering that they each gave up a future so that we could have ours. We give tribute to them by name wherever possible and to the sacrifice of the families, they left behind. Mission Statement: The New York Run for the Fallen is a compilation of runners and support crew whose mission is clear and simple: To run designated miles for each of the 1350+ New York service members killed as a result of serving during the War on Terror. Each mile of sweat and pain and each flag saluted is to pay homage to one service member’s life and their family. June 6-9, 2024 we run across New York to raise awareness for the lives of those who fought and died, to rejuvenate their memories and keep their spirits alive and to aid in the healing process for the New York residents whose lives have been affected by the war. We are dedicated to Honor and Remember as we blaze a 200+ mile tribute trail from Watertown to Schuylerville (Saratoga National Cemetery). One Mission ~ One Team ~ One Tribute

We’re excited to share we received a $1000 Spark Good local grant from our local Walmart Distribution Center #6038 in Marcy NY. This grant helped us accomplish this year's mission to honor and remember our fallen NYS heroes. We are proud to spark good in our community!
