With a heavy but peaceful heart, I am passing the baton of The Eagle’s Nest Oasis Ministry to my beautiful friend Laura.

This ministry was created in honor of my grandmother and built from love, service, and stepping into crisis when others couldn’t or wouldn’t. Knowing Laura, I am confident it will continue to grow in the ways it was always meant to. She has a deep heart for people and works tirelessly with veterans, the unhoused, and those living in crisis. I know she will show up with the same compassion, courage, and commitment that has always defined this work.

There comes a time when we are called to trust the seeds we’ve planted and allow them to flourish in new hands. That time is now for me. I am being called elsewhere, and I am honoring that call with gratitude, not sadness.

Thank you to every beautiful soul who supported this ministry, trusted me, walked with me, and believed in what we were building together. This is not an ending, it is a continuation.

I love you all deeply.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a peaceful, hopeful New Year.

🖤✨ Let’s Be Honest ✨🖤

We rush into what we’re told is success.
A box handed to us before we even know who we are.

Be young. Be wild. Be free.
Then hurry up. Grow up.
Find the career. Find the partner. Get married. Have the kids. Make the money.
Then your life will be complete. Right?

But when you finally get those things, are you happy?
And if you don’t have them yet, are you failing?
Does anyone actually win this race?

I had all of it.
And I was deeply miserable.

We’re told these will be the best years of our lives, but for many of us, they’re just years spent surviving expectations we weren’t ready for. I rushed to build a “perfect life” before I knew myself. I wasn’t ready.

The expectations of others will push you into a life that doesn’t fit. You pour yourself into meeting everyone else’s standards, and somewhere along the way, you lose the magic of who you were meant to be.

We rush into relationships that aren’t aligned. They’re meant to teach us what we don’t want, but we ignore the lesson, blinded by unhealed boxes we never unpacked.

We rush into parenthood while still carrying our own wounds, and without realizing it, we pass that pain forward. Another cycle of generational trauma quietly continues.

We rush into careers that look good on paper but starve our souls. We stay because of money. We settle because we believe this is all we deserve. And slowly, our purpose fades.

Then comes the running into the darkness.
The chasing of chaos.
Until one day, we are exhausted.

Everything collapses.
It gets so dark you can’t see.
You go numb.
You move on autopilot. 💔

💜 Imagine a world where we released these expectations.
Where we chose healing before hustling.
Truth before timelines.
Alignment before approval.

That’s where the real life begins.

I’m writing this this morning because I think a lot of people misunderstand why I post the things I do — the quotes, the memes, the reminders, the call-outs, the spiritual nudges. Some people think it’s random. Some think it’s aimed at someone. Some feel inspired. Some feel triggered. The truth is this:

Only a small fraction of the time are my posts about what I’m personally walking through — but most of the time, they’re about what we’re all feeling together.

When I share something about resilience, it’s because so many of us are holding ourselves together right now.
When I post about healing, it’s because so many hearts are trying to mend quietly behind the scenes.
When I speak on strength, it’s because I see people around me fighting battles no one knows about.
And when I share something bold, raw, or uncomfortable… it’s because the collective weight feels heavy, and somebody out there needs the reminder that they’re not carrying it alone.

I post what the energy around me is saying — the conversations I have with people, the struggles they whisper, the hopes they’re still clinging to. We live in a world where everyone is surviving something, even if they smile through it. So if something I share inspires you, triggers you, comforts you, or shakes something awake inside you… it’s because the message was meant for more than just me.

I’m not here to be perfect or polished. I don’t have a glam squad, a script, or a PR team. I’m just a woman paying attention to the heartbeat of my community — the collective ache, the collective hope, the collective rise.

So yes — the world feels heavy right now.
But there is also a fire awakening in people. A strength. A shift.
And if my words land in your chest, it’s because we’re moving through that shift together.

We rise together.
We heal together.
We carry the weight — and we don’t let it break us.

Much love,

When I made a post about checking in on our homeless neighbors to make sure they were safe, someone commented — “tools will work and they’ll warm up,” meaning if they had a job, they wouldn’t be cold.

Let me share something.
I work full-time. I run a nonprofit, manage my social media platform, write books, and built a small business from the ground up. Yet, through a storm of jealousy, envy, and betrayal, I still ended up homeless.

So I’ll ask again —
What does homeless look like to you?

Maybe you think it looks like someone sleeping on a park bench.
But sometimes, it looks like a woman with a mission. A minister. An author. Someone who still shows up for others even when she’s losing everything herself.

The truth is — I only stayed off the streets because I had safe people who cushioned my fall.
After this last round of deep healing, the universe stripped away everything and everyone not meant for me. And yes, that came with consequences and collateral damage. But those safe people, those few who showed up and held space — they saved me.

Not everyone has that.
Every day I talk to people who didn’t have a friend to call, a couch to crash on, a car to keep warm in.
So before you judge someone for being homeless or jobless, remember —
we’re all one diagnosis, one tragedy, one phone call away from losing everything.

Community is what saves us. Compassion is what keeps us human.
And empathy? That’s the real shelter we can offer one another.

Is there a list of warming stations in Greene County, places & times?

P.s.

Hot Hands are a fantastic present for anyone who can’t afford a lot of accessories, they are a simple yet thoughtful gift that can bring a lot of joy. These go a long way in providing warmth and coziness, making them a great value for the price 🫶🏼💗

Sometimes the moon reminds me who I really am.
Not the version the world tried to break but the woman who rose from her own ashes, lit by a fire only the divine could ignite.

There’s a reason the hawk, the owl, and the dragon follow me in dreams and waking moments alike.
They are guardians not of my body but of my becoming.
The hawk reminds me to rise above, to see the bigger picture when my spirit feels small.
The owl reminds me to trust my inner knowing, the silent wisdom that speaks in the dark when no one else can hear.
The dragon reminds me that my fire was never meant to be tamed, that I was forged in storm and starlight, not in silence and submission.

For years I thought my softness was my weakness.
Now I see it was always my weapon, compassion sharper than any sword, intuition louder than any lie.
Under the moonlight every scar turns silver, every shadow becomes sacred.
Because I no longer run from my darkness, I dance with it.

The old me fought to survive.
The new me knows she was reborn to serve.
To guard, to heal, to ignite the others who forgot their light.

So tonight under this moon I honor every version of me that carried me here, the wild girl, the broken woman, the healer, the saint.
I am all of them.
And I am still becoming.

🦅🦉🐉 Those who walk with dragons, fly with hawks, and listen to owls need no permission to shine. 🌕

I’ve been following this woman’s journey for the past several days and this… this hit home. Because I’ve walked hand in hand with so many people right here in our own community, and what she experienced—I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

I’ve watched people call for help, beg for baby formula, food, shelter, gas, or basic needs… and get turned down. Not because the resources didn’t exist, but because of who was helping them—because it was me guiding them. That’s what hurts the most. When ego and judgment stand taller than compassion.

I run a nonprofit, and when I say nonprofit, I mean it. I don’t get a check cut to me. Every penny that comes through goes directly toward helping someone survive another day. In over a year, my ministry has only brought in about $3600—and most of what I give is donated. Food, clothing, hygiene, baby items, blankets. Basic needs. It doesn’t take much to help.

Yet even with so little, I’ve been able to help hundreds of people. Maybe that’s what scares them—the fact that love, faith, and integrity can move mountains without a big budget or a fancy title.

It’s gone as far as a so-called priest from a local church—someone who runs Section 8 housing—evicting and calling CYS on a woman who had finally found her way back to safety. Let that sink in. This is the reality behind the walls people pretend are holy.

They wanted to take out my ministry—the one that’s built on nothing but heart, grit, and God. I’ve been mocked, ridiculed, and slandered for doing the one thing we’re all called to do: love thy neighbor.

It shouldn’t depend on the pew.
It should depend on the heart.

Until that changes, I’ll keep doing what I do—quietly, consistently, fiercely. Because I’ve seen too many people slip through the cracks to ever stop now.

🔥 Remarkable Women in History: Mother Jones 🔥

She was 73 years old when she led a group of children—blind, maimed, and broken from factory work—on a 125-mile march to the President’s doorstep.
Their banners read: “We want to go to school, not to the mines.”
And for the first time, America couldn’t look away.

Her name was Mary Harris “Mother” Jones.
She lost her husband, her four children, and everything she owned—twice—and still rose.
When the world told her to sit down, she started walking.
When the powerful ignored the cries of the poor, she made sure they were heard.

At seventy-three, she walked in blistering heat beside children missing fingers and sight, forcing a nation to confront what “progress” really cost.
She didn’t wait for permission. She carried justice on her back and truth on her tongue.

Because sometimes the most dangerous woman in the world
is the one who has nothing left to lose and everything left to fight for.

💥 Here’s to the remarkable women in history who refused to be silent—
and to the ones still marching today.
