STEADY Work

09/25/2026

A few recent STEADY Work wins coming out of Williamson Central School District that we're excited to share. 👏

* Two students won a Student Pitch Competition and have since launched their own lawn mowing business.

* One student was hired to work on pipeline projects, spent the summer traveling for work, and is now balancing a half-day senior schedule with his job. He even bought his own truck!

* That same student recently referred another young person to STEADY Work because he wanted them to have the same positive opportunity and support that helped him.

* Another student has moved on from the program to a job at Mark's.

* Another is now working at Tops.

The goal is simple: helping young people gain skills, confidence, and work experience that lead to opportunities beyond the program. It's always exciting to see where they go next!
