It never seems to end with lost dogs on the news feed. Hoping this beauty gets reunited with her family soon.

Where is my family⁉️
I was playing in the puddles on the side of Old Tilton Rd in Canterbury, but a nice person thought it may be better to be dry, sage and warm at the shelter.

Amazon Wish List Item Spotlight !
Our GSRNE foster dogs all seem to LOVE these squeaky balls!

Studies have shown that squeaky toys hold a special appeal for dogs because of the fun, high-pitched sound they make. The squeak sparks curiosity, excitement, and play — helping keep dogs mentally stimulated, engaged, and entertained for hours.

For many of our rescue dogs, toys like these also help build confidence, reduce stress, and simply let them enjoy being dogs again. If you’d like to spoil a foster dog, these squeaky balls are one of their favorite items on our wish list!

German Shepherd Rescue of New England is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible. Our dogs say thank you… and so do we! 🐶

With gratitude,
German Shepherd Rescue of New England

Meet Stella & Draco…♥️🐾

Some dogs leave an instant mark on your heart, and Stella (3) and Draco (2) are those dogs. Despite a heartbreaking past after being abandoned during an eviction, these two remain incredibly sweet, loving, and devoted to one another.

Their bond is beautiful—Draco adores Stella, and she makes him feel safe. They love attention, enjoy walks, and have gentle, affectionate personalities.

Stella is playful, adventurous, and loves belly rubs and toys. Draco is a sweet, curious boy with a gentle, happy spirit.

These best friends must be adopted together, as they bring each other comfort and confidence. After all they’ve been through, they deserve a forever home filled with love and security.

GSRNE Covers All Expenses!
—- Without committed fosters, GSRNE is limited in the number of dogs we can bring into our care. Foster homes provide a more comfortable and predictable environment for dogs, helping them adjust to their new surroundings and increase their adoptability.

Foster homes make a huge difference in a dog’s ability to trust. A dog in foster care learns how to succeed and thrive, which gives them the upper hand when it comes to being adopted. Dogs in foster care have the opportunity to build trust and relationships with people, as well as other animals. They learn the basic skills they need to live in a home, such as a good foundation of house-training, crate-training, leash skills, and basic obedience training, sets that dog up for a successful future.
