Thank you all so much for joining our Christmas fun yesterday! We had an absolute blast! Thank you to Joelle Nevius for partnering with us for the school’s family fun night and providing the cookies to decorate. Thank you to Randy Kesinger for being our Santa year after year and bearing the cold for the parade! Thank you to all our parade participants! Thank you to Morgan Duewer for being an amazing photographer! Lastly thank you to my helpers! I couldn’t do it without you!🎄

It’s already that time of year again…. Who is ready for our Annual Light-Up Christmas Parade and Festival?!? Santa, as always needs our help to light up the town! Line up begins at 4:30p.m. at the Waverly Grade School. The parade will kick off at 5:30p.m. But first, we’ve paired with the Waverly School District to host the best family fun night. Join us in the Waverly Grade School cafeteria for cookie decorating, pictures with Santa and more! Contact Jessica Shumaker or our page to register for the parade! Let the holiday season begin🎄

Last but not least, our beautiful Miss Waverly Dani Casson! If you remember like I do, her face was absolutely priceless last year when she was crowned. She was so unexpectedly happy and it was one of my favorite memories of the pageant. She has grown so much over the last year and has truly been the most pure hearted queen. I’m so proud of the queen she has turned into over the year and I wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors! I know she will shine brightly. Join us for the opening night of the Waverly Old Fashioned Picnic for the pageant on Thursday July 24th at 7:00p.m. We have 23 wonderful contestants all vying for the Waverly titles. The retiring 2024 royalty and our contestants have been working so hard to put on an amazing show for our community and surrounding towns! We can’t wait to see you there!👑

People’s choice is still set up at the Waverly Dollar General and will be until 9:00pm tonight. Get those last votes in! We will have People’s choice available starting at 6:30 by the pageant stage and until the start of the pageant!

Up next, our beautiful Jr. Miss Ava Kate! Ave has absolutely blown me away with how much she has matured over the last year! She grown up into such an amazing and kind young lady. When Ava competed in the pageant, she was doing it just for something fun to do and I don’t truthfully think she had a thought in her mind that she was going to win! Now look at her! She’s unstoppable and placed 1st runner up in a county pageant. I’m so proud of the way she has taken this title by the reins and been the best role model for her littles and other children in her community. Along side her littles Ava is sure to make you laugh! Even by just hearing her laugh, it’s contagious! When I thought Raegan was going to be the only one saying out of pocket things, boy was I wrong! Ava is right there with her. We all love our Ava Kate and I can’t wait to have her back in a couple years, competing for the Miss Waverly title!

Next, is our mysterious Pre-Jr. Miss, Brisena! I say mysterious because she has such a unique personality and some days I don’t have it quite figured out! She’s radiant and strong willed- just ask her Grandma! I’ve watched Brisena grow into such a beautiful young lady from when she was Little Miss a couple years ago to now and I’m so glad I’ve been able to witness it. This year you could find her making all of us laugh with her unique ways to say things and all her noises! She’s truly one of a kind! I’m so lucky that I was able to have another year with her!

Just under two weeks until I once again have to tell an amazing group of girls and their families “see you later”! I’ve had an amazing year with them and they have represented our community with grace!

I want to highlight a few things about each one of them! Starting with our sweet but sassy Little Miss Raegan. Also known as Craig amongst our pageant family! She’s the most determined little 6 year old I’ve ever known. She’s fierce and strong and has a heart of gold. I’ve enjoyed her spunky personality this entire year and I’m so glad she was apart of this group. She was sure to make us all laugh with her facial expressions and out of pocket remarks. She’s obviously a model if you can’t tell by these pictures! She used our time wisely and hit all the poses she could think of!

Don’t stop being your perfect authentic self Raegan! I can’t wait to watch you compete again in years to come!💛
