What a wonderful day in Oak Bowery!

A few favorite moments from our very first BBQ Fundraiser! Good food, great fellowship, and a community that always shows up for one another.

We are so grateful to everyone who came out, our amazing volunteers, and our friends at Oak Bowery Church for making this day possible.

Days like these remind us just how blessed we are to call this community home!

❤️🚒 OUR HEARTS ARE FULL, OAK BOWERY!

What an incredible day! Our First Annual Oak Bowery Fire & Rescue BBQ was a wonderful success, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the outpouring of support from our community!

To everyone who purchased a plate, baked a cake, made a donation, volunteered their time, or simply helped spread the word — THANK YOU! Every single act of kindness helped make today possible.

A very special thank you to our dear friends at Oak Bowery Church, who so graciously opened their doors, rolled up their sleeves, and worked alongside us to make this event happen. And to the many volunteers who spent countless hours planning, cooking, preparing, serving, and cleaning up — we could not have done this without you!

Days like today remind us just how incredibly blessed we are to live in a community like Oak Bowery. A place where neighbors still show up for neighbors, where people give freely of their time, and where the spirit of community is alive and well.

It’s about so much more than barbecue or raising money. It’s about the people, the friendships, and the shared commitment to taking care of one another.

We are so proud to call this community home, and even more grateful to serve it.

From all of us at Oak Bowery Fire & Rescue, thank you for making today so special. ❤️

🚒💨 A LITTLE WIND AND RAIN? WE’VE TRAINED FOR WORSE!

RAIN OR SHINE, THE BBQ IS ON!

We may have a little unwanted guest named Mother Nature joining us Saturday, but it’s going to take more than a little wind and rain to stop the Oak Bowery Fire & Rescue BBQ!

We’ve sold most of our tickets, the pork is being prepared, and our volunteers are ready to roll!

So grab your rain jacket, bring your appetite, and come support our Fundraiser.

We will still have plenty of Mums, Pumpkins and Baked Goods as well.

We’ll continue monitoring the weather and share any changes if necessary.
