Waverly Community Foundation - Charitable Group The Greater Waverly Area Foundation Fund is an affiliated community improvement fund with the Nebraska Community Foundation.

The Greater Waverly Area Foundation Fund is an affiliated fund with the Nebraska Community Foundation. Funds such as this can be used for community improvement projects that can't be fully funded through taxes and developers' fees. The Greater Waverly Area encompasses the District 145 ESU and includes the towns of Waverly, Alvo and Eagle.

Registrations are coming in, but we still have plenty of room for YOU! Sign up today…or anytime between now and Saturday, August 9. We will have same day registration available. There will also be a 50/50 raffle at the race. And if you just want to come out and watch, we welcome that, too.
Two great runs:
• 5K run on a combination of city streets, park trail, and open field at the north end of Lawson Park – which happens to be where the new dog park will be! Starts at 8 am
• 1 mile-ish run with your dog on the Lawson Park trail. Starts at 9 am. Dogs must be leashed and near their running partner – no extendable leashes – to avoid trips and falls. Your dog must be known to be non-aggressive around people and dogs and should be vaccinated.
Join us for the fun…and help us raise money for the new dog park.
