A MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY OF RANDY BROWN:

It is bittersweet that we announce that the 15th Annual Randy Brown Memorial Ride, held last year will be the last. We as a family made the decision prior to the ride, but did not announce it before hand so that the news would not hang over the event. The ride has been a major part of our lives since 2005, when we lost Randy Brown. In many ways, it helped us cope with his passing, while doing something wonderful for the community and helping children. We have met many people, made many friends, and take with us many great memories. We thank you all for your support. The ride became bigger than we could have imagined when it first began, and we couldn’t have done it without everyone who donated their time every year. We hope that when you look a your pictures and your ride shirts, that you smile and feel the same great feeling that we do. We hope that a new event will be held for Wheaties Kids, and want everyone to know that we will support it whole heartedly if one should be held.

We want to take a moment to thank everyone for another successful Randy Brown Memorial Ride! To all of the people who donated their time, their talents, auction items, the folks who bought the shirts,... just everything and everyone! Know that this year really was the BEST year yet. We truly are humbled!! Y’all showed up and showed out for this one! God bless all of you, and much love!!

Everyone the shirts are in!!! They are $15 for short sleeve, and $20 for long sleeve. They are available at Dacus Hardware of Waverly, and J’s Restaurant. You can also get the shirts through Charlie Cooley, as well as hats for $20!
