A delightful afternoon was had by all at our first JASNA-WI gaming afternoon at the Bay View library in Milwaukee! Special appreciation and gratitude to our most amiable gaming mistress, Kat Lee, for all her hard work creating the gaming guide, procuring supplies, and coordinating setup and cleanup! ❤️ We supped on cranberry and chocolate chip scones, maple brownies, macarons, Italian biscuits, and tea, and played Austen-themed board games, whist and commerce, and assembled an Austen jigsaw puzzle with members and guests!
Our board games included Marrying Mr. Darcy, The Jane Austen Board Game, Polite Society, Lizzy ❤️ Darcy, and Guess Who: Jane Austen Edition.
We had more games and ran out of time, so we await the next gaming afternoon with anticipation! 🃏🎉

JASNA WI members attended a performance of “Sense and Sensibility” today. Following the performance, Liz Philosophos Cooper facilitated a talk-back session with the directors and cast. The show runs through next weekend at the Waukesha civic Theater.
