⏰ Reminder — the Watford City PTO Garage Sale is tomorrow!

Stop by the Civic Center on Friday, June 12 anytime from 8:30 AM–6:30 PM to shop and support the PTO.

All proceeds will go toward funding PTO events and activities for the coming school year, supporting students, staff, and families at Fox Hills Elementary School, Badlands Elementary School, WC Middle School, and WC High School.

As we wrap up our first full school year as the Watford City PTO, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the businesses, organizations, families, and community members who supported us this year.

Because of your generosity, we were able to help support students, staff, teachers, events, appreciation weeks, classroom needs, family activities, scholarships, and so much more across all four schools.

This year was full of learning, growth, new ideas, and community support, and we are incredibly thankful for everyone who believed in and supported our mission along the way ❤️

🎳✈️ A fun day for Badlands Elementary 1st Grade! ✈️🎳

Badlands Elementary 1st graders had an exciting field trip to Williston this year!

They spent part of the day bowling and also got to tour Overland Aviation, a private airport in Williston. What a fun way to learn, explore, and make memories outside the classroom!

The bowling portion of this trip was paid for by the PTO using money from our sponsors. This is one of the many ways sponsor support goes right back to our schools and helps create meaningful experiences for students.

🍦 The sweetest reward! 🍦

Fox Hills students participated in a coin war competition, and the grade level with the highest points earned an ice cream party.

This year, the 3rd graders came out on top! 🎉

They celebrated today with bowls full of ice cream, toppings, cookies, gummy bears, sprinkles, and plenty of smiles.

Thank you to all the students and families who participated in the coin war. The proceeds go right back into the Fox Hills PTO Committee fund to help make more events and activities possible for Fox Hills students in the future.

Congratulations, 3rd grade! You earned it! 💙🍨

📣 Join Us for Our Final PTO Meeting of the School Year! 📣

The Watford City PTO will be holding our final board meeting of the year on Wednesday, May 13th at 5:30 PM via Google Meet.

During this meeting, we will also be holding elections for the upcoming school year for the following positions:

✨ Fox Hills Elementary Building Chair
✨ Middle School Building Chair

💛 What an incredible Teacher Appreciation Week across all of our schools! 💛

This week was filled with coffee carts, sweet treats, snacks, gifts, decorations, encouraging notes, and so many words of appreciation for the amazing teachers and staff in our district.

As one PTO supporting all four schools through our building committees, it was so special to see our community come together to celebrate educators across every building ❤️

From food deliveries and fun themed celebrations to thoughtful gift cards donated by local businesses, our teachers and staff were truly showered with appreciation this week.

A huge THANK YOU to:
✨ Our PTO volunteers and committee members
✨ Families who donated items, time, and encouragement
✨ Parents & school staff who helped organize events
✨ The many local businesses that generously donated food, drinks, gift cards, and prizes

We are so thankful to live in a community that values and supports its schools. Our teachers pour so much into students every single day, and we hope they felt celebrated all week long 🍎

We had such a fun night at our Bingo Family Night at Badlands Elementary!

It was so special to see families gathered together, kids laughing, and our community filling the room. Nights like this are exactly why we brought the PTO back 💛

This event was also a chance to share that the Watford City PTO is officially up and running again, and we are so excited for what’s ahead!
