During National Prevention Week, we’re sharing our “WHY.”

Kelli has been making a difference as a Community Prevention Specialist for 28 years. Her focus is providing prevention programming to the Watertown area through the Watertown Healthy Youth - WHY Coalition and Glacial Lakes SAFE Coalition.

One of Kelli’s favorite activities is the Glacial Lakes SAFE Su***de Awareness Walk and Remembrance Ceremony. For the past 10 years, this walk has been more than just an event to her. It’s a reminder that we are not meant to carry this burden alone. Each year, the ceremony reminds us that while grief stays with us, so does love — and love is stronger.

Thank you, Kelli, for keeping HOPE alive and strong in our community.

Green Day for Mental Health Awareness 💚

Grateful for these SAFE coalition members (and the ones missing!) who put in the time and effort to make a difference. This work matters—and so do the people behind it.

What they do—both in this coalition and in their everyday roles—has a real impact on our community. 💚
