Check it out Davenport!

It's that time of season and we are slowing down due to funding... soooo... I'm debating and thinking about doing bmx clinics at the Davenport Skatepark, what will this entail you ask?

1) getting people outside
2) riding bikes
3) learning tricks
4) Skatepark etiquette
5) helping clean up the park
6) learning how to fix their bikes
7) community outreach/meeting new folks
8) having fun
9) maybe get the city to okay repainting the park (other than graffiti)
10) creating a family friendly park environment again.

Thoughts? I have a few local riders itching to help as BMX mentors during this process.

I am trying to iron out the details as we go.. once a week, once a month, and or every other weekend... ??? It is all in the air... all ages welcomed, bring your bike type deal.. you will learn how to utilize the ramps as you progress and drop in those scary things before you know it.

Thoughts?

Trying to see how interested people are in coming out if we launch this idea....
