‼️ Update on the " House Cats" ‼️

The last group of cats went to IHA on Tuesday to be altered. That just leaves one nursing mom and her litter of 5 which we will ensure that mom will be spayed and the babies will come into Rescue when they are weaned. There was an unfortunate issue with one of the first females that got spayed which required an emergency visit to Blue Pearl resulting in a hefty bill for the Rescue. This was not something we were expecting but without emergency treatment this kitty would have not made it. The Rescue's total has come to $1945.43 for this . We are expecting a $100 refund from Blue Pearl. Any help you can offer is much appreciated. Thank you all for your help and support.

Adrian is one of the "house" kittens that came into Rescue on October 1. Weighing at just .46 of a pound at 8 weeks old and extremely small in size for her age. This morning, she hit a pound! Her eye is healing but it's still too early to determine what the future holds for it. Medication for her eye and constant wet and dry food for her belly continues 💕

Avery and Arianna aren't too thrilled it's Monday either. ☺️

Here are the five kittens we took in from the home we helped with. These kittens are 2 months old and from the same litter. Amelia and Ariana came in with no issues. Aurora, Avery and Adrian had eye issues. They have been seen by our veterinarian and have been on treatment. Aurora and Avery's eyes were not as bad and are healing nicely. Adrian's eye has a longer road to recovery and we are hopeful she will heal. She is EXTREMELY small for her age but she is TINY but MIGHTY! Adrian came in weighing as much as a 2-3 week old kitten at .46 pounds! In one week she has doubled her weight!
