The girls had a wonderful day of hands-on learning at the The Institute for American Indian Studies this past November! They learned so much while having lots of fun exploring, experiencing history and making memories together. 💚

The girls were very excited to be able to give back to the community this year and spent a morning at Walmart Waterbury carefully choosing toys & gifts for Hopeville Church's Toy Drive & the The Salvation Army - Waterbury, CT Angel Tree. They're looking forward to making this an annual troop event. 🎁

This year, the girls voted to do the Robotics & Coding Badge series. They learned all about the world of robotics, built & coded model robots, design their own apps & coded their own mini movies! 🤖

The initiative of Connecticut Girl Scout Troop 61074 is inspiring! Through their Girl Scout Cookie stand, they raised funds to donate 17 cases of cookies to the St. Vincent DePaul Mission Food Pantry. Their actions demonstrate the power of young people to create positive change. Gratitude is expressed for the generosity of everyone who supported their efforts. Well done, girls!

This year the troop started their "Everyone Deserves Cookies" project and it was a tremendous success! They promoted their project to all their cookie customers and friends, family & the people of Waterbury absolutely showed up for it! The troop was able to donate over 550 boxes to local food pantries! 💚
