Two Generations. One Hope.

Isaías and Don Felipe were born generations apart in the same rural community—and with the same condition—but their paths to care have been very different.

Don Felipe waited more than 70 years for help. Isaías, at just 14 months old, is already receiving nutritional support and being guided toward the treatment he needs. For 25 years, Partner for Surgery has built bridges between rural communities and life-changing healthcare—so that distance, poverty, and isolation do not determine who gets the chance to heal.

Their stories remind us why this work matters: the next child should never have to wait a lifetime for care.

This year marks a special milestone: both Partner for Surgery and Hands and Hearts for Christ are celebrating 25 years of serving others.

Last week, those two journeys came together once again in Guatemala, bringing compassionate surgical care to patients and families who need it most.

💚Guatemala is coming together for Nourishing Smiles! 🇬🇹

Students and families from Colegio Monte María, Colegio Boston Bilingüe, Kinderland, together with La Bodegona Supermercados, collected Incaparina to help our babies grow stronger and prepare for surgery. 🥣✨

And thanks to Fundación Castillo Hermanos, our program will receive a full year of Incaparina support! 🙌

Our latest Rural Mobile Mission brought essential healthcare services directly to families in rural Guatemala, providing medical care, preventive services, and hope for the future.

Together we achieved:
✨ 518 patients received medical care.
🏥 248 patients were referred for future life-changing surgical missions.
💜 245 women received cervical cancer screenings, helping detect and prevent cervical cancer early.

Every patient seen, every family supported, and every referral made is a step toward healthier communities.
