👉 Comment SMILE and we will DM our guide to orthodontics!

The DC area has so many amazing orthodontists. We hope this guide is helpful as you navigate this territory!

Orthodontics isn’t just for a beautiful smile, it also helps keep teeth clean, have a proper bite, and have a wider airway.

Most consultations for orthodontics are complementary. If you think your child may need braces, bring them to an orthodontic appointment as early as age six or seven! When we bring our kids to an orthodontist earlier, they can prevent problems because the jaw is still forming. 👏

“I started reconnecting with the things that once brought me joy—book clubs, my writing group, girls’ trips, concerts, and even the occasional (or weekly) drive across the DMV in search of the perfect croissant or bubble tea. While it now takes more planning and a lot more coordination (with endless gratitude to my incredibly supportive husband), it’s worth it. I always come back more grounded, more present, and a better version of myself—as a mother and a partner.”
