A Love Letter to Our Community ❤️
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Spring has a way of reminding us that life begins again.
After the long winter months, the sun shines a little brighter, children laugh a little louder, and the world seems full of hope once more. Easter carries that same promise — a reminder that love is stronger than darkness, that hope rises again, and that new life is always possible.
This year, we would love nothing more than to celebrate that joy together with you and your family.
On Saturday, March 28th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, we’re gathering at the Morris Township Volunteer Fire Department in Nineveh for the "He is Risen" Community Easter Egg Hunt filled with laughter, smiles, and a whole lot of colorful eggs(and an Empty Tomb).
But more than anything, this day is about community — neighbors coming together, children running through the grass with baskets(which we provide) in hand, and families sharing a moment of joy that reminds us how beautiful life can be when we care for one another.
Kids ages 0–16 are welcome to hunt for eggs, and while the children enjoy the excitement, we’ll also have free refreshments and a free silent auction where someone will take home a special surprise or two!!!
Whether you’ve been part of our events before or this would be your very first time joining us, please know this:
You are welcome here.
You don’t need a special invitation.
You don’t need to know anyone.
You simply need to come as you are.
Because that’s what neighbors do — they make room at the table.
And in the spirit of Easter, we remember the greatest message ever given to the world:
The tomb is empty.
Hope is alive.
Love has the final word.
We can’t wait to see your family there.
With love and gratitude,
Neighbor 2 Neighbor of Southwestern PA
