⚾️💚 Join us for a fun summer evening at the Clarinda A’s Baseball Game on Monday, June 8th at 7:00 PM at Clarinda Municipal Stadium! This special 4-H Night is a great opportunity to support local youth while enjoying America’s favorite pastime with family and friends.

There will be a free will donation, with all proceeds going toward supporting the 4-H Youth Development County Extension Program. Come cheer on the Clarinda A’s as they take on Chillicothe, enjoy the ballpark atmosphere, and help make a difference for local 4-H members and future leaders. We hope to see you there! ⚾️☀️

🌱 Garden Club is Growing! 🌱

We had a great time at our first Garden SPIN Club meeting last night! Youth learned all about plant propagation and even got to try propagating houseplants—such a fun way to get their hands dirty and learn by doing.

🌿 Interested in joining? There’s still time!
👧🧑 Open to youth in grades 4–12
💲 $25 per youth
✔️ You do not need to be a current 4‑H member to participate

Join us for a deliciously fun hands‑on Pie Baking Workshop where youth will learn the art of making pies from scratch—just in time for fair season!

📅 Friday, June 19, 2026
⏰ Choose a session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 The Vintage Spoon | 115 S 15th Street, Clarinda
👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 Grades 4–12
💲 $20 per child

Participants will:
✅ Make homemade pie crust from scratch
✅ Create delicious cherry and apple fillings
✅ Build real baking skills in a fun, supportive environment
Each youth will make two pies—one for the Clover Café at the Page County Fair and one to take home and freeze for static judging.

✅ Animals that must be identified include:
• Cattle (beef, breeding, dairy)

• Sheep
• Horses
• Poultry

• Dogs/Pets

🟢 4-H members: Animal IDs must be completed in 4-H Online
