Monarchs on the Move Day Camp in Shenandoah was filled with discovery, creativity, and fun! Campers learned about the incredible journey of monarch butterflies, explored their life cycle, and discovered why pollinators play such an important role in our environment. Monarchs on the Move Day Camp was a fluttering success! Campers spent the morning at the Conservation Office learning all about monarch butterflies, their life cycle, migration journey, and the importance of pollinators in our environment.
A special thank you to Alex Nordyke, a 4-H member, for assisting with activities and helping make the day both educational and fun for our young explorers. We loved seeing campers discover the amazing world of monarchs and conservation!

Our Pen to Pasture Day Camp was a great day of learning! Participants got to work with Hallie Robinette to explore the basics of a livestock skillathon, building their knowledge of animal science, livestock evaluation, feeds, equipment, and more. The campers gained valuable skills while having fun and learning about the livestock industry. Thank you to Hallie for sharing her expertise and helping inspire the next generation of livestock enthusiasts!

Ocean Explorers Day Camp was a splash-tastic adventure in Shenandoah! Campers dove into the basics of engineering and coding through hands-on activities, creative challenges, and ocean-themed exploration. From solving problems to learning how coding helps power our world, participants discovered new skills while having fun with friends. Youth from Taylor and Page Counties recently had the opportunity to participate in a hands-on learning experience focused on sheep, goats, poultry, and swine! 🐑🐐🐔🐖

Participants practiced their showmanship skills in preparation for the county fair and learned valuable techniques for properly fitting their animals.

A big thank you to our amazing presenters for sharing their knowledge and to the exhibitors who generously provided animals for practice. Your support made this event a great success! 👏
