We also had an event to attend today. We visited the VFW for their Labor Day Event. The girls wanted to jump in the bouncy house and I let them do just that. 😂 Ms. Roxeann watched from the shade. But eventually they got tired & hot after about 20 minutes 😂. I socialized with some members of the VFW and then I took them home. They were all tired, hot and sleepy. VFW. 5899, Thank you

Today, we had an amazing time with Sonya Pecan Tan and her sisters. It’s not often that someone reaches out and want to share their time, talent and treasures with the youth. They poured into these girls and trust me, they were appreciative. I was appreciative because they educated, empowered, exposed and encouraged these girls to “junk ties” and to entrepreneurship. Thank you, Greta Cosby and Melissa Kendrick, y’all made them feel sooo special. They are proud of the ties they made and their parents are proud, also. Sonya thank you for sharing your expertise with 4E youth. We can’t wait until we have another workshop. Her contact information is below in one of the pictures.
