Bishop Walker School for Boys We are an Episcopal School that serves Black and brown boys and their families K-5.

We are a tuition-free Episcopal School that serves boys and their families living east of the Anacostia River. We seek to nurture the development of each student in a Christian community of learners that welcomes boys of all faith traditions.

As this school year comes to a close, we're reflecting with gratitude on the people who make our community so special.

Toast en Bleu was an opportunity to celebrate and honor the parents, faculty, and staff whose dedication, partnership, and support help our scholars thrive every day. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to those who continue to invest their time, talents, and hearts in Bishop Walker School.

We are grateful for you, and we're proud of all we've accomplished together this year.

Today, we celebrated our Kindergarten Kings and all they have accomplished this year. With a 100% literacy rate, our scholars are reading, growing, and ready for 1st grade. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and excited to watch them continue their journey as lifelong learners.

A special thank you to Mr. Evans and Ms. Atmar for their dedication, care, and commitment to helping our youngest scholars build a strong foundation for success.

Honoring tradition, celebrating achievement, and praying over every next step. 💙

This past Saturday, we gathered for our Annual Graduates Luncheon — a special Bishop Walker School tradition where we celebrate our graduates, reflect on their journeys, and pray over the paths ahead. We are so proud of each of our young men and grateful to continue walking beside them as they step into their next chapter.
