Happy New Year friends and family! We will be heading back to Gbamandu in about a month! Our clinic is located about an hour or more away by motorbike from the nearest hospital, where patients can access lab tests, X-rays, ultrasounds, and more. Last year, we were fortunate to have a donor fund a second motorbike, making it easier for patients to reach the hospital. This year, we are raising funds to purchase our own ultrasound machine for the clinic. This will enable us to provide better diagnoses and reduce the need for risky and unnecessary trips to the hospital. Every penny donated goes directly towards patient care, whether through equipment purchases or medication funding. Our entire US team volunteers their time and works tirelessly to source supplies through donations. We would be grateful for your support, as every little bit counts in our mission to provide safer patient care!
