We were on the Hill yesterday advocating to save lives and money by expanding access to interventions through the Medically Tailored Home-Delivered Meals Program Pilot Act. This bipartisan and bicameral bill will ensure that seniors with chronic or complex illnesses and people living with disabilities get access to lifesaving and cost-saving in their homes: https://foodandfriends.org/news/support-the-medically-tailored-home-delivered-meals-program-pilot-act/

We had great meetings with Senator Angela Alsobrooks and U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, Rep. Glenn Ivey, Rep. April McClain Delaney, Rep. Andy Harris, M.D., and Congressman Don Beyer offices.

We are grateful for the support and momentum around Food is Medicine, especially Medically Tailored Meals, which have been proven to improve health and reduce healthcare costs.
