By now, the world has heard from practically everyone with an opinion on Kanye West’s antisemitic posts and rants — except the group perhaps most qualified to comment on the subject: Black Jews.....

To learn how the controversy is playing to Black Jewish people, we spoke to those who live at the intersection of these issues on an everyday basis.

Jewish Multiracial Netrowk is supporting our friends at Jews in ALL Hues in bringing you the 3rd annual Jews of Color, Sephardi, & Mizrahi-led High Holy Days services, taking place in-person in Philadelphia and streaming live on YouTube.

It’s important to us that all Jews of Color, Sephardi, & Mizrahi Jews have a place to worship, sing, learn, and explore t'shuvah during the Days of Awe in a way that doesn’t require any identities to be left at the door.

At our services, your identities will not only be celebrated, but will be reflected by a wide range of identities and experiences in our incredible lineup of JOCSM ritual leaders.

Here are the details:

Register at tinyurl.com/JIAH-HighHolidays-5783 for in-person and online prayer for Rosh Hashana Day 1, and Erev Yom Kippur (Kol Nidre), and Yom Kippur. In-person tickets are limited, so be sure to register if you’d like to attend.
Live captioning will be available for those joining us online.
If you have any questions, please email at [email protected].
We are very grateful for our sponsors, , , Rabbi Mira Rivera, Arielle Korman, , and , Jewish Multiracial Network for making this offering possible!

We look forward to seeing you for the High Holy Days! May these last days of Elul be meaningful for you and your loved ones.

Lag B'Omer is here, and you're invited! If you’re in the NY or LA area join us! Let's celebrate Lag B'omer with music around the bonfire/fire pit, cold drinks and goodies! Bring old friends and meet new ones!

Lag B'Omer is a minor holiday that occurs on the 33rd day of the Omer, the 49-day period between Passover and Shavuot often marked with bonfire and merriment. It is the day of passing of the Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, one of the few surviving scholars and the author of the greatest work of Kabbala, bringing light to the world (hence why we light fires )

Looking forward to seeing you there!
